 Learn about the seven guiding principles of the Kwanzaa celebration – unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, co-operative economics, purpose, creativity and earth. Light refreshments served.

Ring in the new year before bedtime by celebrating Countdown to Noon with a glittery ball drop and fun activities.

 This annual event is modeled after Scotland's Hogmanay Festival, the walk is a day when townspeople honor their community and merchants, wishing them good luck and prosperity in the coming year. The Scottish Walk leads off from London and Washington streets in Olde Towne Portsmouth.
