Coleman Collection Nativity Scene

Winter Wonderland: The Coleman Collection is a popular holiday tradition in Portsmouth. However, a centerpiece of the collection resides just around the corner at Monumental Methodist Church.
The Nativity Scene, because of it’s religious significance, was best housed outside a public building and separate from the rest of the collection. However, it remains a very important part of Winter Wonderland and visitors enjoy viewing it year after year.
Come visit Monumental United Methodist Church and witness this amazing Nativity Scene for yourself!
The Nativity Scene is free to view and will be open on Saturdays from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; and on Sundays from 12:30 – 5 p.m. until December 18th.

Olde Towne Holiday Music Festival

The Olde Towne Holiday Music Festival began in 1998 and has become the signature holiday event for the City of Portsmouth. This special day of music and friendship takes place on Saturday December 9th, from 11 AM until 3 PM. You’ll find even more music in restaurants, bars, and churches after the festival officially ends.
