Reception: May 13, 1:30 p.m. Since 2006 the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center has hosted an exhibition of sculptures in the historic courtyard. Visitors can pick up a ballot inside and cast their vote to determine which sculpture wins People’s Choice Award. Additional awards include Seawall art Award and SPPA Juror’s Choice Award.
Reception: June 17 @ 1:30pm This exhibition presents paintings by contemporary Virginia painters who offer a range of subject matter and styles from abstract to figural and imaginary environments. Featured artists include Donna Drozda, Sheila Giolitti, Christi Lynn Harris, Matt Lively, Jing Qi, and Eloise Shelton Mayo.
