Trail of Treats

Costumes on, treat bags ready! Portsmouth Museums’ Halloween Trail of Treats returns Saturday, October 17, for a free evening of family fun and a chance to give back to our community. Bring a food donation to help stock local food pantries as you enjoy the Halloween festivities.
Start on the Museum Mall in front of the Children’s Museum of Virginia, where music and games kick off the fun. Then follow the trail to four more stops:
- Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum
- Lightship Portsmouth
- Portsmouth Welcome Center
- Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center
Visit all five sites for treats, giveaways and activities along the way. Family-friendly costumes are encouraged, so bring your little ghosts, superheroes and pumpkins!
