The Rhythm Project All-Stars

The Rhythm Project is a world percussion ensemble dedicated to nurturing self-esteem through individual, cooperative achievement. Founded in 1996, the program was started in Portsmouth, VA. The All-Stars, 2009, 2010, and 2019 Virginia International PANFest Grand Champions, have earned international acclaim and collaborated with many prominent artists. They have opened for Gladys Knight, shared the stage with pan artist Victor Provost, and the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra. This fantastic ensemble of young musicians will give a free concert in the museum courtyard, while the museum will be open with $3 admission 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. –Portsmouth Museum Members enjoy free admission.
