THE COMEDY LINEUP:
Kicking off the show is the hilariously humorous human CLETUS KASSADY:Cletus Kassady, from Portsmouth, will take the stage first with his jovial persona and get your giggle going! He is a true pro on the stage presenting clean comedy with a personality that exudes charm. Cletus is a multi-talented performer who stays busy both on comedy stages and as an actor. Cletus recently toured the country as part of the “REAL COMEDIANS OF SOCIAL MEDIA” tour and the “SLIGHTLY PROBLEMATIC” tour. His podcast, which is catching fire, is called “This Ain’t Church” and it is streaming on all digital platforms. Cletus has worked with such comic greats as Mike Epps and DL Hughley and currently can be seen as an actor portraying ‘Deacon Charles’ on the KevOnStage Studios-produced sitcom “Churchy.” Come check him out on MoMac !
Up next is the very funny “COACH” TOM HOLADAY: With 35 years teaching and coaching high school students, it is easy to see where Coach Tom Holaday gets his humor and material from!
Throughout his set, he also weaves in squeaky clean humor about his 46 year marriage and his decade as being a proud grandfather. He is a regular performer at the Comedy Zone chain of comedy clubs and is also a regular performer “on the water” on American Cruise Lines. If he doesn’t look familiar maybe his voice will sound familiar — his stand up comedy is played regularly on Sirius XM’s clean comedy channel. “Coach” Tom, who began his education career in Portsmouth, is excited to return to MoMac! His laid back southern timing will bring a smile to your face on Sunday July 14th! Rounding out the show is Portsmouth comic:
HATTON JORDAN:You might describe Hatton’s stand up comedy as upbeat, physical and observational. With more than 30 years of performing stand up in more than 15 states, Hatton brings a tight set of proven jokes to the audience. Along the way, Hatton has sold comedy to Mad Magazine, acted on the Discovery Channel and teaches stand up comedy at the Push Comedy Theater in Norfolk where he also performs regularly. He opened for Demitri Martin at the Sandler Center in Va Beach not too long and he is ready to return to MoMac Brewery to joke around but mainly to eat some BBQ ! From the “funny” to the “food” this show has Portsmouth all over it!
