Creating Positive Change

Portsmouth PEACE Week is a transformative initiative dedicated to fostering community engagement, promoting nonviolence, and providing essential programs and services to residents. Held during spring break, this week-long series of events is designed to uplift and empower individuals of all ages, offering educational workshops, recreational activities, and access to vital resources.
The goal of PEACE Week is to create a positive and supportive environment that addresses the root causes of violence in the community. Through collaborations with local organizations and law enforcement, the initiative provides opportunities for personal growth, conflict resolution, and mentorship. Events include youth enrichment programs, wellness fairs, and community dialogues that encourage open discussions about safety and unity.
By bringing the community together in a spirit of peace and collaboration, Portsmouth PEACE Week serves as a proactive step toward reducing violence and building a stronger, more united Portsmouth.
