National Night Out

The Portsmouth Police Department will host a city-wide National Night Out event Tuesday, August 1, from 3 to 8 p.m., at Portsmouth City Park. We’re inviting the neighborhoods, businesses, and others to take part in this annual event. National Night Out enhances the relationship between city residents and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Portsmouth’s event will take on the elements of a carnival with activities ranging from cotton candy stations and food trucks to music and games. There’ll be something at National Night Out for every member of the family.
