Help Protect Wildlife—Volunteer for a Marsh Cleanup!
Seasonal north winds blow trash into the marsh at Paradise Creek Nature Park—and our local wildlife needs your help. Litter along riverbanks doesn’t just look bad—it poses serious risks to birds, fish, and other creatures that call the marsh home. Plastics can entangle animals, pollute their habitat, and even enter the food chain.
We’re calling on volunteers ages 15 and up to join us to remove debris and restore this vital ecosystem. Every piece of trash you collect helps protect nesting areas, feeding grounds, and the health of the river itself.
We’ll provide boots (if needed), gloves, trash grabbers, and bags.
Please bring water and sunscreen, wear long pants and close-toed shoes, and consider a long-sleeve shirt for extra protection.
Come make a visible difference for the river and its wildlife—your time and energy are appreciated.
