Honor, remember, and come together as a community.
Join the City of Portsmouth for the 142nd Annual Memorial Day Parade – a proud tradition since 1884 and one of the longest-running in the nation. This meaningful event pays tribute to the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
The parade steps off at 10AM, traveling along High Street from Peninsula Avenue (at I.C. Norcom High School) to Water Street, with a viewing stand at High & Court Streets.
Enjoy a morning filled with marching bands, veteran units, floats and community organizations – all coming together in a shared tribute to those who served and sacrificed.
