Building on the success of last year’s 175th Anniversary Block Party and our pre-COVID Pig Pickin’ parties, St. John’s Church is once again hosting a Neighborhood Block Party on Saturday, 9/21 from 5:30-8pm! The party will be on Washington Street, between London and Glasgow, in front of our historic worship space.
Bring your favorite folding chair. Enjoy a pig pickin’ (smoked pork shoulder), live music with Allen Hudson and the Halfmoons (a fantastic alternative rock band from Portsmouth), and several activities for children and childish adults. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the party.
Tickets are $15 for adults (2 for $25), $10 for youth (age 9-15), and free for children (8 & under). Want beer or wine? Make sure to add either or both as an “add-on” when you purchase your tickets.
