Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT)

After a 2-year hiatus, the PIT is back! What started in 1953 as a city basketball league is now a major national scouting event in which many of the country’s hottest college seniors are invited to play in front of talent-hungry NBA scouts and enthusiastic fans, both in person and streaming online. NBA players who are PIT alumni include Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, John Stockton, Tim Hardaway, Jeremy Lin, Ben Wallace, Avery Johnson, Rick Barry, Dave Cowens and Earl Monroe.
